Cody Simpson is opening about his break-up from longtime girlfriend Gigi Hadid. Back in May, the celebrity couple announced their split, citing their busy schedules as a cause. And while they were seated next to each other on a recent flight, Cody says he hasn't texted with his model ex in a while. “We talk every now and then, but people grow in different ways and separate, you know?" he told Yahoo! Style. "We’ll never have any animosity between us, as it should be, and I want to be supportive of her. We’re just on different paths right now.”

These days, there's another Hadid he's been spending his time with: Bella. The two appear in the ad campaign for Ralph Lauren's Denim & Supply together. “I’ve known Bella for a couple years, because of Gigi,” he said. “She’d always hang out with us and I always liked her, because she’s chill. She doesn’t care what people think of her. She’s more of a badass [than Gigi].”

While Gigi has been spotted with Joe Jonas recently, Cody shared he's not currently dating. "I’m not, by the way,” he said, seemingly shutting down those Selena Gomez rumors. “I’m not dating anyone. I haven’t moved onto another celebrity girlfriend. And just because I haven’t tweeted for the past 10 minutes doesn’t mean I’m dead. Seriously. I hear a lot of weird stuff about myself.”
