The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum just dropped a mother lode of candid family photos.

After exiting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2016, Yolanda Hadid has led a comparatively private life. The supermodel mom spends much of her time at a Pennsylvania farm. She fills her days with meditation, horses, and fresh-picked veggies from her garden. (Homemade soup is the new glass fridge.)

How to Watch

In 2021, glimpses of Yolanda’s farm life became increasingly rare as she took a 10-month break from social media. And now that she’s back on the ’Gram — at least sometimes — she posts sparingly. When Yolanda does decide to grace our timelines, it’s to share poignant reflections on life and love. (And to gush over her gorgeous family.) Case in point: her February 22 post.

Yolanda’s candid photos showcase sweet family moments that have us longing to be a Hadid. And not only because we would like these red-carpet-ready genes, please.

There’s a snap of Gigi Hadid studiously making sliders with a big grin on her face and a neon barrette in her hair. Another pic shows Anwar Hadid chilling on the couch with Yo’s beau, Joseph Jingoli. A mother-daughter shot shows Yolanda flanked by both of her gorgeous daughters, and all three beauties are beaming.

Of course, horses make an appearance too. In one photo, Yolanda leans in for a selfie with a beautiful brown horse. Another snap shows her cuddling her granddaughter, Khai, in an equestrian ring.

In her caption, Yolanda shared an update. “Living life, present and in the moment,” she wrote. “After my [10-month] social media detox [I] am trying to figure out a healthy way of connecting with my online community without making it a daily thing because posting and engaging in social media can take up too many hours of my day. Maybe [it’s] the escape of the everyday struggles we all face but it also makes you disassociate from [real-life] connections, missing out on [real-time] conversations and blessings.”

She continued: “I don’t know the answers but [I] do see the red flags, [social media] seems like crack cocaine for the brain and the addiction is real…. I believe that there [are] a lot of mental health issues attached to it as well, sensory overload of the nervous system and feelings of not being good enough in comparison to others.”

She ended her post with some gentle life advice: “Only in time will we learn the consequences of phone and social media addictions, in the [meantime] try to stay present, enjoy your family time, have a cup of coffee with a friend, put your phone away when you are with young children, make those around you feel worthy of your time and attention so together we can see all the beauty life has to offer.”

Yolanda kicked off 2023 with another reflective post. Her first caption of the year said, in part: “Realize that the gift of a new year is like a blank book. It has 12 chapters and 365 pages. You are the author. Go forth and write the most beautiful story possible for yourself.”
