Does Jeff Lewis Think He'll Be a "Mediocre" Dad?
The #FlippingOut designer and his BFF Jenni Pulos are managing expectations for fatherhood.
Jeff Lewis is getting closer to the birth of his first child with his partner, Gage Edward. The longtime Flipping Out couple will welcome a daughter this fall via surrogate. And in the lead-up to the baby's birth, Jeff is managing expectations of what type of parent he thinks he'll be — even if his pal and executive assistant, Jenni Pulos, thinks that he'll handle fatherhood quite well.
"I think they're going to be incredible parents," Jenni recently told The Daily Dish before Jeff chimed in with a, well, different perspective. "Maybe... I just don't want the pressure. I don't wan't the pressure. Let's just, I'd rather just lower the bar."
Jenni then offered up this alternate suggestion as to how the pair will fare as dads: "I think they're going to be maybe less than mediocre to mediocre parents."
However mediocre they end up becoming (although, we think "incredible " sounds more like it), Jenni is expected to have a big role in helping to raise the baby. "I'm on for whatever, rap lullabies, you name it," Jenni said, but deemed Jeff's suggestion that she may help with the breastfeeding as "creepy." (So, she doesn't appear to be down for everything...)
And while there's still a little bit of time before everyone meets the baby in person, the besties shared a bit about what the she looks like based on early images. "Your embryo has a big head though. [I know] 'cause I saw it. It looks big," Jenni said. "I hope it's not too big," Jeff added. "I noticed the legs were long." -Reporting by Jason Comis
