So... Does Michael Strahan Miss LIVE?
And more importantly, has he watched his former co-host Kelly Ripa since his buzzy exit?
It's been over a month since Michael Strahan said goodbye to his co-hosting gig on LIVE. And, in a new interview on Chelsea Handler's Netflix talk show, he shared if he misses sitting by Kelly Ripa's side. And, his answer is...
"I really haven't missed it," Michael said, via Access Hollywood. "But I loved it. Don't get me wrong. I loved it. When you get a break, sometimes you kind of go, 'Wow, I kind of needed it.' I needed a break."
Michael left LIVE back in May to take on a full-time role at Good Morning America. He will also host the upcoming reboot of The $100,000 Pyramid, slated to premiere later this summer on ABC. So he's been busy, which may explain why he hasn't had time to catch up on the show since his departure. "I really haven't had a chance to watch," he said. ''But I think I've been working so hard for the last seven or eight years since I retired from football, that it's been a relief."
Michael's full sit-down on Chelsea hits Netflix on Friday, June 24.
