UPDATE (Oct. 16, 11:42 p.m.): Whitney and Kelly have commented on their playful Instagram banter since it first made headlines: “They have been good friends for years,” the RHONY alum's rep told PEOPLE, with a Bravo rep adding, “They’re old friends and not dating.”
While Whitney and Kelly are just friends and have been for quite a long time, The Daily Dish confirms that Whitney is still very much dating Larissa Marolt.

When Whitney Sudler-Smith took to Instagram to share that he's in Minnesota at the Mayo Clinic for surgery — or as he put it for the doctors over there, to "bionically reattach my arm" (get better soon, Whitney!) — there was a former Real Housewife who decided to show her support for the Southern Charm bachelor in the comments section of his social media. The Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon shared four double-heart emojis in his comments section.
Whitney noticed her comment (and, who could blame him?) and, well, he responded in just as flirty as a manner: "Can’t wait for you to nurse me after."
As far as we can tell, Kelly has yet to take him up on the offer, but keep us posted on how that goes because we are intrigued...
