RHONJ's Dolores and Paulie Talk Matching Tattoos and Engagements at BravoCon 2023
Paulie Connell told live audiences that "the future is looking bright" when updating fans on his relationship with RHONJ's Dolores Catania as well as his ditvorce.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Dolores Catania and boyfriend Paul “Paulie” Connell answered whether a Vegas-style wedding was in the works while in Sin City.
The Garden State couple appeared for the second installment of the In a Jersey State of Mind panel for BravoCon 2023 — now available to watch on Peacock and BravoTV.com. Moderated by Bravo expert Michael Rapaport, fans in Las Vegas couldn’t wait to get an update on Dolores and her “favorite Irishman.”
Will Dolores Catania and Paulie Connell get matching tats?
Rapaport first asked Teresa Giudice and Luis “Louie” Ruelas about their matching tattoos before directing his attention toward Dolores and Paulie, asking if they had similar plans during the long weekend away from New Jersey. For Teresa and Louie’s part, they were satisfied with what they already had.
“I think I’ll get my social security [number] tattooed on her ass,” Paulie joked. Dolores playfully smacked Paulie, reminding her beau that her father was in the BravoCon 2023 audience. Both had a good laugh as Paulie continued, “Just so everybody knows who she belongs to.”
“Then put my name,” Dolores responded. “How about my name?”
Of course, the comments were made in jest.
Will Paulie Connell and Dolores Catania get engaged?
The pair went Instagram official on Valentine’s Day in 2022, and the sparks have been flying ever since. Previously, Paulie said he and Dolores had “a plan” about taking their relationship to the next level. However, it would have been impossible to marry one another since, as of September 2023, Paulie was still legally married to his estranged wife, although they’d been separated for 14 years.
Paulie said at the time that the divorce was “in the works.”
At BravoCon 2023, Paulie continued to gush about Dolores — as he has since the pair went public with their coupling — after Rapaport asked if they were yet engaged. “Vegas is the place to get married!” yelled Rapaport to the live audience’s cheers.
“Obviously, we’re talking about a future; I’d be a silly person if I was not,” Paulie began. “Dolores means everything to me. Since I met her, she made me a better person. The future is looking bright.”

Paulie also took it upon himself to address “the other big question in the room,” in which he said, “My divorce is pretty much closed, finalized.” He added that the next steps would take place later on.
