What Does Carole Radziwill Think of Dorinda and John's Relationship?
The #RHONY writer shares her two cents about the show's controversial couple.
As Season 8 of The Real Housewives of New York presses on, one of the most controversial topics just so happens to be Dorinda Medley's relationship with longtime boyfriend John Mahdessian. Several of the ladies have expressed their concerns about the romance, much to Dorinda's chagrin. "I choose him. Period. Done," Dorinda told Bethenny Frankel earlier this season after the Skinnygirl aired some of her issues with him to Dorinda. When Carole Radziwill stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, she offered her take on the pair.
"You’ll have to ask her, but they got together at a time in her life where she felt like she was not having a good time, and it was difficult," Carole told a caller. "And he made… she’s not told me this, but I assume that he helped her in a hard time in her life. I think sometimes they are kinda well-suited for each other honestly. I don’t get into their relationship. I didn't like the things that he said about Bethenny and the things that he said about Ramona. But, in terms of his relationship with Dorinda, if she wants to be with him then she should be. And she clearly loves him." Andy Cohen also offered up his opinion of why they're still together: "They’re in love."
Looks like the topic of Dorinda and John isn't going anywhere, as Dorinda opens up about the ladies' take on her relationship to Luann and Sonja on next week's episode of RHONY. "You know what? They're giving John a hard time again," Dorinda says. "I've chosen him. I love him. If you want to be my friend, you need to respect that. He adores me. I think people like to speculate and say things that are mean. I think people must be jealous cause why are you concerned about my sex life, my romantic life, my anything life."
