Dorit Kemsley Says "Therapy and Hard Work" Helped Her Son Overcome His Speech Issues
"There is hope," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom shared about Jagger.
When we met Dorit Kemsley last season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she was very open about her son's, Jagger, speech issues, noting that it was likely that her son was dealing with apraxia. Since then, the young Kemsley has apparently made some progress, as she shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this week in the clip above.
Dorit also sent some love to a viewer who is going through some similar issues and asked about her son, noting that "there is hope" when it comes to dealing the condition.
In fact, Dorit has been quite candid about the steps her family has taken to help Jagger overcome his speech issues. "Speech therapy and patience...it comes when they are ready," she shared on Twitter last December. "Try to encourage speech by saying words over and over. It will happen."
In a Bravotv.com post from February 2017, Dorit offered up some insight into how her family and son have dealt with this particular condition. "After six months of speech therapy, Jagger was starting to use his words and have better engagement with us. We always try to be optimistic and hopeful for what’s to come with his progress. It’s especially adorable when he keeps pointing 'I LOVE YOU; to his little sister- he’s already an amazing big brother and I couldn't be more proud of him," she wrote at the time. "Our time together as a family means everything to both PK and I."
And, in case you missed it, Jagger had quite an unforgettable moment this season, which you can check out below.
