"DAYUM!" Dr. Contessa Metcalfe Has a Lot to Say About What's Going on in Her Marriage
The Married to Medicine doctor addresses the tension with husband Dr. Scott Metcalfe.
One thing we love about Married to Medicine is that the ladies are such open books when it comes to their careers and relationships, never hesitating to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of their personal lives with fans.
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and her husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe, have been letting viewers into a particularly stressful time in their marriage this season of Married to Medicine. Dr. Scott has been feeling a bit overwhelmed taking care of the couple's three children back home in Atlanta while Dr. Contessa is away in Nashville working to get a degree in public health.
Things came to a head in the latest episode of Married to Medicine as the couple got into an argument over Dr. Contessa's commuting back-and-forth after she came home to Atlanta to see her family, ending in Dr. Scott storming off from the conversation (clip above).
Dr. Contessa addressed the moment in a post on Instagram on September 16. "Ok y’all DAYUM! I’m going to make a lot of mistakes, and one HUGE one is failing to show my appreciation and adoration for my #soulmate @scottmetcalfemd. He’s the best man I know, but what is #realmarriage is we don’t always agree, are NOT always connected, and #marriageisnotagame," Dr. Contessa shared in a post that also featured a very glamorous photo of herself and her husband. "You can watch us evolve and grow, and feel free to call me out! #onlyafooldespisescorrection The great thing about reality tv is my mistakes are immortalized, and despite what I tell @scottmetcalfemd, I’m NOT always right. I’m learning as I grow! I love and appreciate you husband/lover/friend."
It looks like Dr. Heavenly Kimes is ready to give Dr. Contessa some advice on the situation with her family in an all-new episode of Married to Medicine Sunday at 9/8c. Check out a sneak peek, below.
