Was Jill Kargman Intimidated by Drew Barrymore?
The #OddMomOut stars opens up about acting alongside the seasoned actress.
The guest list for Season 2 of Odd Mom Out reads like the roster for one very fabulous Hollywood party. It seems like Jill Kargman was able to get just about everyone (we're looking at you, Meredith Vieira and Blythe Danner) to cameo during the comedy's sophomore run. But, of course, Jill didn't have to look very far for one of those guest stars. All she had to do was call Drew Barrymore, who was married to her brother Will Kopelman, and ask her to stop by set. And once she got there, Jill certainly didn't feel any pressure to impress the seasoned actress when the cameras started rolling. "No [I wasn't intimidated by her acting]. I was was more intimidated with Molly Ringwald and people who I don’t have any, I just met her on the set. Drew is family," Jill said on Watch What Happens Live Monday. "We’re giggling all night. It was so easy. I was far more intimidated by [others]. She’s just very disarming and just like she seems in movies. She’s really real."
And, just because Drew and Will are no longer together, doesn't mean that much has changed between Jill and her former sister-in-law. (Drew and Will announced their split in April after nearly four years of marriage. The couple has two daughters together, Olive, 3, and Frankie, 1.) "It’s great. She’s always my sister and I feel like we’re going to be family life because there are these adorable kids and we’re always going to be family," Jill added.
