Leah McSweeney Welcomes Eboni K. Williams to The Real Housewives of New York City
It was recently announced that Eboni K. Williams will be the newest RHONY cast member.
Eboni K. Williams has been announced as the newest addition to The Real Housewives of New York City, and she's already getting a warm welcome from Leah McSweeney.
Leah, who joined RHONY in Season 12, shared a photo of herself and Eboni on Instagram on October 8, the same day The Daily Dish confirmed the big news. The pic shows the pair smiling as they pose together for the camera at Nobu Downtown in the Big Apple, according to where the post was tagged. "Let the games begin," Leah wrote in the post.
Eboni also reposted the photo and shared it on her Instagram.
Andy Cohen, who is an executive producer of The Real Housewives, also shared his excitement for Eboni joining RHONY for Season 13 on Twitter on October 8.
Eboni previously opened up about becoming the first Black woman to join RHONY in a statement confirming her as the newest cast member of the franchise. "NYC is filled with successful and dynamic Black women. I’m excited to join this legendary franchise as the first Black housewife. Can’t wait to share a slice of life in this city that hasn’t been seen before," she said. "Anyone who’s aware of my work knows I don’t hold back. I’m going to keep it just as real here as I do everywhere else.”
