Five years after initially getting diagnosed, Eddie took to his podcast The Eds on Sept. 24 where he opened up about how it has still had an impact on him. "I am still pushing myself really hard and full circle," Eddie explained. "You know, still, to this day, I'm trying to figure out what caused it. I'm taking clues here and there. I'm still learning the best nutrition practices, the best way to avoid these things from happening. And it has completely changed my way of looking at fitness where I'm looking at longevity now."

Eddie then revealed that the heart condition is now "pretty much gone" but, navigating his health journey was not easy — especially since he relied on working out to help with his mental health.

Eddie Judge Opens Up About His Mental Health After Heart Struggles

Eddie, who owned a gym with Tamra, CUT Fitness, at the time, revealed that it had been hard for him to motivate his clients, especially since he himself was so unsure about keeping up with them and feeling positive at the same time: "And here is, you know, a coach and a leader in the space where I am motivating people to do things they don't think they can do physically, right, and I can't keep up myself."

This led Eddie to feel "a little bout of depression."

"Prior to that, I used to think depression is just a stupid excuse not to do anything right," he said. "But I think I actually experienced a bout of depression because I couldn't exercise."

Although he had been in a dark place, he revealed that this brought him and Tamra "closer together."

"She was really there to help me if I needed anything, anything at all — love, support, kindness, you know," he noted. "Just she was amazing. And she was struggling with it herself, too, like thinking like the worst case scenario."

Where Eddie Judge's and Tamra Judge's relationship stands today

Safe to say that everything is going strong between Tamra and Eddie, even now that he has emerged on the other side of his health struggles. Eddie took to his Instagram feed in early August, where he penned the sweetest tribute to his wife and all that she has done for him.

"I can't imagine spending my life without you," Eddie wrote. "It's been going strong since the first day I met you. Keep being you baby. I love you just the way you are...[don't] let anyone or anything change you."
