We Have All the Details on Why Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna Are Reuniting
The RHOBH pals are ready to bring the drama to Peacock on Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.
Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna are ready to reunite on the (streaming) small screen, and it feels so good. It was announced on Monday (August 2) that Eileen will join Lisa in the upcoming Peacock limited series Days Of Our Lives: Beyond Salem.
Eileen shared a vintage clip from the show to Instagram to confirm her return to the series. "I’m BEYOND excited to be joining BEYOND SALEM!" she wrote. "Streaming soon on [Peacock]."
Other notable alums Thaao Penghlis, Leann Hunley, Christie Clark, and Austin Peck, as well as Greg Rikaart, Chandler Massey, and Zachary Atticus Tinker are also back. Deadline first announced the news.
Eileen has played three different roles on Days of Our Lives over the years: Kristen Blake, Kristen DiMera, as well as Susan Banks. She starred on the soap opera on and off since 1993 and last appeared on the series in 2017.
This week, Lisa also shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set featuring Eileen in hair and makeup. "Look who I found," she captioned the snapshot and added a lips emoji, naturally.
It was announced last month that Lisa, who is currently sharing her life in Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, would be back in the Days of Our Lives world in her iconic role of Billie Reed. She also shared the news on Instagram last month and simply noted of her return, "Billie Reed is Back." She's since shared a photo of herself in character on the set.
Previously, some details about the limited series were shared in a press release. "Over a long weekend, John [and] Marlena travel to Zurich, Ben [and] Ciara have a romantic getaway in New Orleans, Chad visits some old friends in Phoenix, and Abe, Paulina, Lani, and Eli vacation in Miami," according to a press release, which was released on July 26. "[They] all find themselves embroiled in a mystery involving stolen jewels which, in the wrong hands, could cause dire consequences for Salem. It’s a race against time for ISA agent Billie Reed as she crosses the globe in search of this missing treasure. Packed with all of the romance, action, drama, and surprises that only Days of our Lives can deliver, fans will spend a week with their favorite Salem supercouples and reconnect with many familiar faces along the way."
Lisa and Eilieen will be joined by previously announced stars Deidre Hall as Dr. Marlena Evans, Drake Hogestyn as John Black, Jackée Harry as Paulina Price, James Reynolds as Abe Carver, Victoria Konefal as Ciara Brady, Robert Scott Wilson as Ben Weston, Billy Flynn as Chad DiMera, Lamon Archey as Eli Grant and Sal Stowers as Lani Price. The press release noted that "additional beloved characters are also set to make appearances and join the hunt for stolen gems across the globe."
