Ellen DeGeneres Just Spilled All the Secrets Behind Her Star-Studded 60th Birthday Party
The Ellen host recapped the "crazy mix of people" who showed up to the epic event.
Ellen DeGeneres' 60th birthday party was an extremely star-studded affair, with celebs like Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Aniston, Olivia Munn, and Meghan Trainor saying cheese in the photobooth. The Ellen host admitted on her show that she's been celebrating for two whole weeks now (her actual birthday was January 26) and she is still reeling from last weekend's "epic" bash.
She joked that she figured out that she could save a lot of money by simply inviting all of her fabulous musician friends and coaxing them to perform for free, and that she ended up with a dream team of performers, including Pharrell with his up and coming artist Mette, Pink, Khloe Kardashian's rapper ex French Montana, comedian Tig Notaro covering Adele (who was in the house as well), Melissa Etheridge, and Alessia Cara.

She praised guest Reese Witherspoon for encouraging the performers to give their best, and had a funny word about Reese's friend.
"I don't want to blame anyone in particular, but I saw someone drinking at the bar all night long," Ellen joked. "I'll just give her first name —Oprah — and you can figure out which Oprah it was."

But what she loved best was seeing so many different friends from her life in one room, which she described as a "crazy mix of people." She spent most of the night introducing people to each other, including Adele to Pink and The Weeknd to Michael Keaton.
Wife Portia DeRossi pulled the whole party together — on top of gifting Ellen with her own campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda.
