Emily Simpson Is Getting Creative to Keep Her Kids Entertained During Self-Quarantine
The RHOC mom created a fun, elaborate scavenger hunt for her children.
From Dorit Kemsley doing yoga with her kids to the extreme hula-hoop competitions at Jennifer Aydin’s home, the moms of Bravo are sharing plenty of adorable updates as they keep their children occupied as they self-isolate amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. For parents who are running out of ways to keep their little ones entertained, Emily Simpson has a few solid ideas. The Real Housewives of Orange County mother is getting super creative at home, and recently shared her advice with her Instagram followers.
In a March 30 post, Emily put up an adorable photo of her daughter, Annabelle. She explained that she created a scavenger hunt throughout the neighborhood, and offered up some advice on how to recreate the fun activity.
“Hi Moms! How are you holding up?” Emily wrote. “Just an idea for you to do with your kids… I made a list of scavenger hunt items (letters, numbers, colors of flowers, colors of cars, worms, etc.) to find in our neighborhood with a box to check next to each thing.”
Emily explained how they carried out the game, writing: “We walked all over our neighborhood looking for each item on the list. It was fun, educational, outdoors, and no one scream, cried or threw a punch...winning!”
As much fun as the Simpson family is having running around outside, it looks like they’re also taking some much-needed time to relax at home. On March 29, Emily shared a sweet photo of her son, Luke, taking a nap while cuddling their cat, Buddy.
