Eva Marcille Just Gave a Shout-out to a Fellow America’s Next Top Model Alum
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum still has love for this America’s Next Top Model star.
In case you're wondering what Eva Marcille is up to these days, she's busy nourishing her mind with a few choice reads. And one of those reads is an homage to her time on America's Next Top Model.
When The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum posted a photo of a stack of books on her current reading list to Instagram, one of those tomes is The Wig, The Bitch & The Meltdown by the one and only Jay Manuel, who of course is a makeup artist and was the Creative Director on America's Next Top Model.
Jay appeared on ANTM for nine seasons. Eva competed and won during the show's third cycle back in 2004.
And in case you're wondering what Jay's novel is about, according to a synopsis: "The Wig, The Bitch & The Meltdown is a satirical look behind the scenes of Model Muse, a fictional reality model competition show, and global phenomenon. This twisted tale of ambition, jealousy, blackmail, mystery, and revenge is seen through the eyes of our moral compass Pablo Michaels-the heart of production in the helter-skelter world of Model Muse."
Well, that sounds a little familiar...
"A few of my September reads," Eva shared in the photo of the pile of books she's making her way through. "Love reading."
In case you're wondering what else is on Eva's reading the list, her choices right now include Sacred Woman: A Guide to Healing the Feminine Body, Mind, and Spirit by Queen Afua, Black Fortunes by Shomari Wills, as well as The Souls of Black Folk by W. E. B. Du Bois.
She added in the caption, "Food for your mind and soul."
