Sterling Sweeties! Eva Marcille's Children Are Absolutely Adorable
The RHOA alum is a mother to three beautiful children, and the photos and videos she shares are just too sweet.
If you ever need a pick-me-up in the form of pictures and videos of some super cute kiddos, Eva Marcille’s Instagram account is a pretty solid place to go. The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum is a proud mama to three incredibly adorable little kids: Marley Rae, Michael Todd, and Maverick.
Thankfully, Eva shares lots of Marley, Mikey, and Maverick’s most heart-melting moments on Instagram. Here's everything you need to know about the model's three babies.
Eva Marcille’s Daughter Marley Rae
Eva welcomed her firstborn, daughter Marley, in 2014 with ex Kevin McCall. These days, the mother-daughter duo are style icons who travel together a ton, from glam press days in New York to birthday outings (celebrating Miss Marley’s big 9!) in Los Angeles.
Fans may recall that Eva announced she’d legally changed Marley’s last name to Sterling in Season 12 of RHOA, in honor of her then-husband, Michael Sterling. According to Eva, he’d always considered Marley his daughter.
"On the East wall of our home sits an old large framed photo, courtesy of @thankfulcliff, that has on it a quote I used to inspire my staff years ago: 'Earn it Everyday,'" Mike wrote in a January 2020 Instagram post celebrating his daughter’s 6th birthday. "That quote never meant more to me than when Marley became a part of my life. I knew that, with her and Eva’s trust, I had to earn each and every day. And if I fell short one day in my attempt to earn 'it', I had to get back up and earn the next. I didn’t know what I was doing. I still don’t. I’ve just tried to earn everyday.”
Eva is no stranger to gushing about her babies online, either. In January 2023, she took to Instagram to celebrate her oldest’s last birthday before the big “double digits.”
“My Marley Rae of Sunshine. Today you turn 9 years old and my heart is beyond full,” she wrote. “You are my world, you changed my life and taught me what the word ‘purpose’ truly means. As you enjoy this last year of your single digits, promise to stay my little baby girl / Cha Cha / princess forever and ever. Mommy Loves you beyond life itself.”
Eva Marcille’s Son Michael “Mikey” Todd
Michael Jr. — a.k.a. Mikey — was born in 2018. A mega-cutie with a passion for superheroes and basketball, the middle Sterling sib is certainly a bright light for his family.
In April 2020, Eva noted just how strong the resemblance is between herself and her oldest son. “My twin!!!! Mikey,” Eva captioned an Instagram photo of the then-2-year-old clearly having a grand old time in his carseat.
And in a July 2020 Instagram video, Eva captured Mikey playing with a basketball in the family’s home. “Mommy’s big boy,” Eva captioned the post. Although Mikey seemed excited to flaunt his dribbling skills for the camera, he ended up just plopping down on the basketball.
Eva Marcille’s Son Maverick
If Mikey is Eva’s twin, Maverick has his father’s genes covered.
“I have no idea how he got my ‘lawyer explanation hand’ at just 3 years old, but he got it honest,” the attorney captioned a June 2023 photo of his son looking incredibly serious.
And while Maverick may be the smallest of the crew, he has a big personality just like his famous mama.
In a March 2023 Instagram post, Eva shared a hilarious story about her youngest and his late-night snacking habits.
“I love being a mom. I heard a noise last night while I was in the basement. To my surprise this was the noise I heard. Maverick sneaking into the movie theater raiding the concession stand and taking all of the red vines,” she wrote, her caption accompanied by the little guy passed out next to a load of licorice. "My Maverick is a Maverick.”
Eva Marcille’s Family Life
Eva announced in March 2023 that she and Michael were getting a divorce after four years of marriage. They'd gotten married in October 2018 in a ceremony shown on RHOA during Season 11.
According to the model, their kids are doing “great” despite the hard news.
“They’re getting big! Too big. I want them to stay small! My daughter’s tall… She’s 9 now, she’s doing algebra over the summer, I’m like, ‘What is going on?!’” Eva told ET in June 2023.
