No Surprise Here: Fredrik Eklund's Manhattan Apartment Is Seriously Swoonworthy
Go inside the #MDLNY agent's new Big Apple pad.
Fredrik Eklund's real estate portfolio just keeps getting better. After purchasing a swanky home in Connecticut, the Million Dollar Listing New York agent is opening the doors to his Tribeca apartment, which he recently moved into with his artist hubby, Derek Kaplan. From the kitchen to the furnishings to the views, the apartment is stunning.
Recently Fredrik spoke to The Daily Dish above his love for New York City. "I love all of them. They're like my children," he said of Manhattan's many neighborhoods. "We just moved in to Tribeca and I'm rediscovering northwest Tribeca all over again."
So how does a father of so many amazing neighborhoods typically spend his days? You know, when he's not out there selling equally amazing properties? "I have my big headphones and I walk around New York and I watch people; I watch architecture. I move around and I just sit on a park bench and I just become this anonymous liquid energy that moves around the city. Because I never get to do that," he explained. "I have like 32 appointments a day. I run around and negotiate. I'm always working, so [I like] to just be free without a calendar and the shackles of my job, just walking and sitting. I listen to music; New York becomes my music video, I hear the beats, I walk to the beats, and I move within the blocks and go from neighborhood to neighborhood."
