Garcelle Beauvais Encourages People to "Speak Up" on Injustice
During WWHL, the RHOBH cast member shared her empowering message to "say something" if you see injustice.
Garcelle Beauvais is not new to using her platform to spread awareness on important humanitarian causes, and she's now being vocal about her support for the Black Lives Matter movement.
Garcelle appeared on on Sunday's (June 14) Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen to share her Moment of Mazel, during which she opened up about the ways that everyone can use their voice to make a change.
"I've had a lot of friends reach out to me and say, 'What do we do? How do we start?' What I want to say is: if you see any injustice, speak up, say something," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member said. "The way you wouldn't want to be treated, if you see someone else being treated that way, speak up, say something. I think that's a really great place to start. And then let's sit down and have a conversation."
Garcelle, a longtime advocate for humanitarian causes, as well as the first Black cast member of RHOBH franchise, has been open about "fighting for equality" for future generations and has also attended a protest with her twin sons earlier this month: “We can’t sit on the sidelines!"
