Garcelle Beauvais is adding a new gig to her already-impressive resume. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is now the newest co-host of The Real.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Variety was the first to report the news on August 24. Garcelle will join the panel featuring Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Haughton in The Real's upcoming seventh season this fall.

“I am thrilled to be joining the dynamic, bold and diverse women on the award-winning talk show ‘The Real,'” Garcelle told Variety. “My love for pop culture and news, blended with my natural gift of gab, has always made me gravitate towards a talk show environment. It’s also exciting that it’s happening right after my amazing time joining ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.'”

The news comes after Tamera Mowry-Housley announced in July that she would be leaving The Real after six seasons as co-host.

Garcelle also announced the happy news on Instagram. "I am beyond beyond excited to share this news that I am the new cohost of @therealdaytime," Garcelle wrote in a post on August 24. "Anyone who knows me knows that I love pop culture I love the news I love talking about it I love sharing my opinion and to be sitting at the table with these amazing women @comiclonilove @adriennebailon @thejeanniemai will be an honor and a blast."

Several of Garcelle's fellow Beverly Hills Housewives and Bravolebs alike sent their congratulations in the comments to her post on Instagram, including Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, Denise Richards, Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards, Cynthia Bailey, Heather Dubrow, Nema Vand, Asa Soltan Rahmati, and Kary Brittingham.

Garcelle thanked everyone for all of their love and support following the announcement in a tweet on August 25. "Happy Tuesday. Thank you guys for all the love and the congratulatory tweets about @TheRealDaytime," she tweeted. "I’m still smiling."

Garcelle became the first Black Beverly Hills Housewife when she joined RHOBH in Season 10. Of course, she has spent years in Hollywood as a model, actress, author, producer, and humanitarian. Her previous film and TV roles include The Jamie Foxx Show, NYPD Blue, Coming to America, Wild Wild West, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Merry Happy Whatever, and Tell Me a Story. She will also be reprising her role in the upcoming sequel Coming 2 America.

Garcelle is also no stranger to hosting. She previously served as co-host on Hollywood Today Live. Garcelle also launched her podcast, Going to Bed with Garcelle, in May.
