Eva Marcille’s Husband Joining Peaceful Protesters, Says He'll "Lend My Voice for Real Legislative Change"
RHOA husband Mike Sterling will head to Texas to support Black Lives Matter protesters.
Eva Marcille's husband, attorney Mike Sterling, has confirmed that he will head to his home state of Texas to support peaceful protesters. He opened up about the steps he'll be taking on Instagram.
"I want everyone to know that I will be spending additional time in my birthplace - Texas - and will be joining Cochran Firm Houston and managing partner Larry Taylor to assist peaceful protesters and I will be doing everything I can to lend my voice for real legislative change in Texas. The fight continues," The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband wrote.
Eva showed her support on Instagram by sharing his news.
Mike is just one of the RHOA partners who are stepping up to help protesters. Porsha Williams' fiancé, Dennis McKinely, has offered up bail and legal aid help for those arrested at protests. Dennis and Porsha have been protesting in support of Black Lives Matter in Atlanta. Cynthia Bailey and Mike Hill, along with their daughters, protested in Los Angeles.
A memorial service was held on June 4 for George Floyd in Minneapolis. It was the first of several services planned in his honor. On June 6 a memorial will be held in Raeford, North Carolina; and June 8 and June 9 funeral services will take place in Houston.
