In a night filled with killer fashion and unforgettable performances, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter Gigi Hadid made sure that she didn't leave the jokes at home when it came to co-hosting the 2016 American Music Awards with Jay Pharoah. And, yes, that included pulling out her Melania Trump impression, which referenced the future First Lady's Republican National Convention speech from July, alongside the guy known for his take on current POTUS Barack Obama.
Before slipping into Melania mode, Gigi revealed she's been working on the impression as an homage to killer celebrity impersonator, Jay. "I got to get the face right," she said before getting into character. “I love my husband, President Barack Obama, and our children, Sasha and Malia,” Gigi-as-Melania joked.
How did the Saturday Night Live alum feel about it? "That was spot on," Jay said.
And you can bet that Yolanda Hadid loved seeing her daughter's funny side take flight.
