Gigi Hadid Reveals Her Proudest Moment
The model breaks down some of her accomplishments and what her favorite thing to do is when she's off the clock.
Since launching on the modeling scene, Gigi Hadid has become the go-to girl for designers when they need someone for their splashy campaigns or for when editors want that perfect face for their magazine covers. She also recently landed on People Magazine's 2015 World's Most Beautiful list. So for the model to break down which of those accomplishments has made her most proud, is a bit of a difficult task.
"It's hard to choose as I try and do work I'm proud of every day," she tells Friend of a Friend. "I think my Vogue covers have been very defining moments for me, as well as signing my Maybelline contract, plus some stuff that's yet to come out... stay tuned!"
And while we can't wait to find out what else Gigi has up her sleeve, she remains humble despite her fame as a model—which is pretty clear based on what she shares is her current favorite quote. "It changes often," she says, "But one that really touched me recently was this Ernest Hemingway quote: 'There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.'"
Of course she's not the only one in the Hadid family making a name for herself in the fashion world. Much like their mom, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, sister, Bella, is also a model. But what Gigi and Bella do when they aren't in front of the cameras sounds decidedly anything but glamorous.
So what do they do when they are just hanging out at home? "Lay in bed, watch TV, and laugh." (Hey, can we get an invite?)
