Gizelle Bryant Shares an Update on Co-Parenting with Jamal Bryant

The RHOP cast member dished on the latest with her ex, Jamal, and shared why her kids now make her want to “bust out crying.”

Gizelle Bryant is never one to let others tell her what to do, but there are three people who always keep her in check: her daughters Grace, Adore, and Angel Bryant.

The three young ladies have appeared on The Real Housewives of Potomac since the show debuted in 2016, and viewers have watched them grow up over the years.

Today, Grace is a high school senior (with a driver’s license!), and twins Angel and Adore celebrated their Sweet 16 birthdays in the spring.

While it is exciting for the RHOP cast member to see her girls thriving, during an appearance on Good Morning Washington on November 15, Gizelle opened up about why it's also bittersweet.

“[The] girls are growing up, and we’ll see that,” the Reasonably Shady podcast host said about what fans can expect to see as Season 7 progresses. “They’re about to leave me soon, which makes me sad.”

Though it’s tough for Gizelle to prepare for her daughters to grow up, finish high school, and potentially move out, she’s at least in a good place with her ex-husband turned on-and-off beau, Jamal Bryant. As viewers may remember, Gizelle and Jamal got back together during Season 5, but they parted ways in 2021 due to the pressures of long-distance dating.

“Jamal and I are as best of friends as we’ve always been [with] co-parenting [and] all that,” Gizelle added on Good Morning Washington. “I mean, I just feel like I’m at a great place in my life, personally, but still I know [that] any minute now I’m going to bust out crying because my kids are leaving me.”

For now, Gizelle is savoring the time she has left with her girls at her newly completed “Hotel Gizelle” residence.
