Gizelle announced the release of her first book, My Word, on Thursday, February 7. The novel is available on Amazon for pre-order as an e-book now and will be officially released on April 30. Fans will be able to pre-order the book in paperback in a few weeks, according to Gizelle.

She couldn't contain her excitement when sharing the happy news with the world on Instagram. "I’m SCREAMING! My book MY WORD is here!" Gizelle gushed. "This book is loosely based on my dramatic, happy, fun, sad, crazy life. It is a GREAT READ!"

The Instagram post also featured a first look at the cover of the novel, which shows Gizelle with a rosary necklace between her bold red lips.

Although Gizelle's book is a work of fiction, it is loosely based on her life before RHOP when she was married to megachurch pastor Jamal Bryant, and you'll definitely notice some parallels from the description for the novel: "After marrying her college sweetheart, Ginger Williams gave up her own professional dreams to help her husband follow his dream of building a megachurch. It’s not long before Ginger and her husband, Jeremy, turn a small D.C. church into a burgeoning empire….catapulting the couple into a popular powerhouse."

RHOP fans got to see Gizelle work on her debut novel last season. "I have lived a very interesting life," she said of the inspiration for her book in her blog on Bravotv.com in April 2018. "I am now in a space where I want to share tidbits of my story in a fictitious way on my terms."

Gizelle opened up to The Daily Dish about her life as First Lady of the Church during her marriage to Jamal last season. Check it out, below.
