When it comes to home design, Gizelle Bryant says splurging isn’t always necessary. While playing a game of High or Low with The Daily Dish, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member revealed her smart strategy for furnishing a house without completely blowing the budget.

In the video above, shared first with Bravo Insider members, Gizelle explained her method for pulling a room together while sticking to a reasonable spending plan. The mom of three says she likes to “mix it up,” balancing expensive, high-quality pieces with some more affordable items.

While she may shell out more for a bigger item, like a couch, Gizelle says she’ll spend less on smaller accessories, like blankets, by hitting up a favorite major retailer. Watch the video above to find out exactly where she shops to save money.
