Mike Shouhed Shares How Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Is Doing After Her Divorce
"Golnesa seems to be unbothered by the whole situation," the #Shahs pal said.
Shahs of Sunset fans got a little glimpse at Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi's ex Shalom as the pals partied it up in Sunday night's episode. And let's just say that Mike Shouhed didn't quite know what to make of the beau when he first met him. "At first I didn’t like him, but then once I started to talk to him and get to know him a little bit, nice guy," he recently told The Daily Dish.
Even though there had been some major drama between GG and Reza Farahan, he said he didn't let that affect his opinion of her boyfriend. "I liked him from Jump Street 'cause I had cut all ties with GG, and the next time I saw GG, she was with Shalom," Reza told The Daily Dish. "And I noticed a profound change in her, and I attributed some of that change to his very calm demeanor."
But unfortunately, GG's relationship with Shalom didn't last. The Shahs pal filed for divorce from Shalom in May after two months of marriage.
Of course, divorce is something that Mike has dealt with, having revealed last month that he finalized his split from Jessica Parido. But Mike said that he believes GG will have a very different experience after her breakup. "To compare myself and my marriage to her marriage would be a slap in my ex-wife’s and my face, because me and my ex-wife, Jessie, were together for almost a decade," he explained (clip above). "These two were together for, you know, 12 months, including the marriage."
In fact, Mike said that to him, it seemed like GG was more than ready to move on from her relationship with Shalom. "Shalom was a really nice guy, and I know that he was very in love with her. I mean, he’s super-depressed, still is," Mike said. "Golnesa seems to be unbothered by the whole situation, like, 'F*** you, you didn’t deserve me, you were bad in bed.'"
This season of Shahs of Sunset kicked off before GG and Shalom's split as she dealt with her own personal issues head on, complete with a visit to a scream-filled meditation sesh. Not only did Mike tell The Daily Dish that he thought it was "bizarre as f***" while watching it back, but it also reminded Reza of Jennifer Lopez. Find out why, below.
