Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Addresses Her Issues with Nema Vand
The Shahs of Sunset cast members discussed their drama in the July 11 episode and attempted to come to an understanding.
The tension between Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi and Nema Vand has been a hot topic during Season 9 of Shahs of Sunset. But why they have it is a bit of a mystery. And during the July 11 episode, the two tried to get to the bottom of their problems with each offering up different theories on the matter.
"There's a staggering amount of drama between Golnesa and I, but there's also a lot of history there," Nema said in an interview in Sunday's episode. He noted that he believes she might be "hurt" by the fact that he didn't follow through on a hookup previously.
Later in the episode, GG shared her side of the issues. "Nema's just a little too calculated for me. I feel like he's like clay where you can just mold it into whatever shape and that's what it is temporarily," she said in an interview. "I don't know who he really is, so I really don't know how I can ever really trust him."
GG and Nema eventually did meet up to try and talk out their tension. There, he apologized for not texting GG a congrats on welcoming her son, Elijah. He also shared that he doesn't actually believe she's mad at him for not hooking up with her in Hawaii and said he shared that because he was "angry." At the sit-down, they eventually agreed to take some time to see if they can get to a better place.
The same night the episode aired, GG took to Twitter to further elaborate on her side of things, noting that more will be explained later on. "It wasn't clearly explained why I'm so mad at Nema but that's what our reunions are for. So please believe, I will make it clear. And PUHLEEEZ believe that it was for no other reason other than some receipts that landed on my [and Reza Farahan's] lap. True colors," GG tweeted on Sunday.
