Gretchen Rossi '100% Behind Gay Marriage

The ‘Wife believes everyone has the right to say ‘I do.’

By Lauren Metz

While Gretchen Rossi’s still on the fence about marrying her longtime love Slade Smiley, she does hold other nuptial certainties.

“I’m 100% behind gay marriage,” the Orange County Housewife firmly tells Starpulse. “I have so many wonderful friends in the community. Some have been with their partners for over twenty years. It would be great if they could get married and show the world their love and commitment in the same way that straight people can.”

Truth be told, Gretch and Slade even considered delaying their own wedded bliss until marriage was legalized for all. “I believe it’s getting closer,” predicts the blonde beauty, who’s hoping to become a mom in the very near future. “Everyone should have that right to decide if they want to marry.”

So what’s the current status of G becoming a Mrs.? “Definitely it’s a possibility for the future. I don’t feel like we need the license to show that we are in a loving committed relationship. However, the more the idea of kids comes into the conversation, the more I’ve really thought about the idea of marriage as a possibility. We’ll just have to play it by ear.”
