The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared an adorable birthday tribute to her fiancé.
As Bravo fans may recall, Gretchen Rossi proposed to her then-boyfriend Slade Smiley on Season 8 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. And although the lovely couple has yet to tie the knot since then, their relationship is stronger than ever.
In fact, Slade just recently celebrated another trip around the sun, and to honor his special day, Gretchen took to social media to share a heartwarming homage to her fiancé. Get all the details below.
Gretchen Rossi’s birthday tribute to Slade Smiley
On October 29, the RHOC alum posted an Instagram Reel that featured several photos of her family. Set to the tune of Gabby Barrett’s “The Good Ones,” Gretchen’s video montage gave followers a glimpse into her relationship with Slade from over the years including adorable family pictures with their daughter Skylar Gray Smiley.
“Happy Birthday to one of the good ones, my best friend [Slade Smiley],” Gretchen captioned the post. “I couldn’t imagine life without …I love you more than you could ever understand.”
Gretchen continued, “You are my rock, my confidant, my protector, my lover, my everything! God blessed me abundantly when he brought you into my life [and] I could never imagine the ride we would go on together [and] all the things we have been through over the last 15 [years]! But I fall more in love with you each passing year.”

Slade isn’t the only Scorpio in the Rossi-Smiley household, as Gretchen celebrated her 45th birthday just a day later.
Taking to her Instagram feed on October 30, Gretchen posted a few photos of herself to commemorate her big day. The birthday girl stunned in a black-and-white polka dot dress with a black wide-brim hat. She accessorized her look with black sunglasses, flower-shaped earrings, and a white diamond watch.
“Another year around the sun. Thank you Lord for another year on this beautiful earth to learn, grow, expand [and] experience life with my loved ones!” Gretchen wrote as her caption.

Turning a year older isn’t the only change Gretchen has welcomed in her life. Most recently, the mama bear sent her daughter, Skylar, off to school, and you better believe she had many feelings about it.
Last month, Gretchen shared a precious snapshot of her little girl on the first day of her attending “big kid” pre-school.
"Omg my baby is getting soo big. Where does the time go? Today was her first official day of a 'big kid' Pre-School (she is 4 now) and she did great! Mommy [and] Daddy were the ones crying. Were you guys like that? Or were you fine?” Gretchen wrote in the caption of the September 6 post.
