Heather Dubrow may be moving from one OC manse to another, but size doesn't really matter for the Real Housewives of Orange County mom and actress: as long as she's with her family and they've got a roof overhead, it seems like she'll be totally content.
Heather and hubby Terry broke ground on a new 20,000 square foot, 8-bedroom home in January and threw a hoe-down to celebrate it, complete with champs galore. The plans she unveiled for their new house revealed a super luxe layout for the family (and their new puppies!), but she and Terry aren't turning a blind eye to the fact that the purchase of extravagant new digs may rub some RHOC viewers the wrong way.
"Listen, the rental house we’re in right now is smaller than our old garage, and we’re doing just fine," she tells Metro, when asked about how viewers may feel about their move from one sprawling mansion to another. "For me personally, I don’t need the big house. My husband, that last house was his dream house. When we sold it, he told me we were downsizing, and apparently that’s not what happened. I think the truth is, in life everything is relative. What’s crazy over-the-top for some people is not for others. Do we need the house? No, I feel like my family could probably live in a two-bedroom apartment. We have each other. But we are lucky enough to be able to build this house and its pretty cool and we’re excited about it."
Heather recently gave Bravotv.com a tour of her house—well, sort of. Watch her explain the design of the abode through a model version.
