Heather Dubrow Pens Heartfelt Thanksgiving Post to Terry Dubrow: "Come Home Please"
The RHOC mom also shared a sweet family update and revealed what she’s most thankful for this holiday season.
Heather Dubrow is feeling particularly grateful this holiday season.
While preparing for her family’s Thanksgiving celebration, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom took to social media to share a heartwarming message for her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow. She posted a November 22 Instagram carousel that included photos of the couple's 2023 highlights, like their trip to Paris Fashion Week and their time at BravoCon 2023.
Heather also used the opportunity to reflect on Terry’s recent health scare that landed him in the hospital earlier this year. The incident occurred nearly four months ago when Heather and Terry were out to eat with their oldest son, Nick. The RHOC cast member said she became concerned when Terry began slurring his speech at the dinner table and relentlessly pushed him to seek medical attention. Although Terry insisted he was feeling fine, he eventually obliged and went in for an evaluation. It was then that doctors confirmed Terry had experienced a transient ischemic attack, which can cause temporary stroke-like symptoms.

“Thankful for your love and endless support but above everything, this year I’m extra thankful for your HEALTH,” Heather captioned the Instagram. “I love you [Dr. Terry Dubrow] and to anyone reading this: remember to always trust your gut if you think something is wrong with your partner, family member, or friend and if you see someone having stroke-like symptoms, remember the warning signs: BE FAST (Balance, Eye focus, Facial drooping, Arms, Strength & can they lift overhead, Speech slur, TIME… get to the hospital!).
She continued: “This year could have gone very differently but I am beyond thankful it didn’t.”
Terry spoke about the medical emergency during a virtual appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he credited Heather for saving his life.
“...The only reason I'm standing here today and not six feet under is because of my best friend and beloved wife's insistence that I go to the emergency room and get checked out," Terry said during the August 9 episode. "She saved my life. That's just the way it goes. So, what can I say? I love my wife and she saved my life."

The husband and wife exchanged other sweet messages on November 21 when Heather provided a quick family update. She posted photos of her and some friends, the Dubrow family dogs, as well as snaps of her and Terry’s four children: son Nick and his twin sister, Max; daughter Kat; and son, Ace.
“In the spirit of Thanksgiving… SWIPE for what I’m thankful for the most,” she captioned the post. “The twins are HOME, our house feels FULL and I’m ready for a week of family, friends, and FOOD !!!”
Terry quickly hopped into the comments section to declare, “I love my family.”
“We love YOU !” Heather replied. “( Now come home please - I am cooking … don’t be afraid ).”
But the celebrations didn't stop with Thanksgiving. Just two days later, Heather hopped on Instagram to share birthday wishes for Nick and Max. The Hot in Cleveland star posted a carousel that showed her college-aged children smiling next to a decadent birthday cake with silver balloons in the background.
"Happy 20th Birthday [Nick Dubrow and Max Dubrow] !!!!!" she captioned the November 25 post. "We love you so much and are so proud of the incredible humans you are !!! Amazing dinner [Nobu Restaurants] ( IYKYK…) and home for presents and cake."
