You've Got To See Heather Dubrow’s “So Sick” Home Update: "It's Super Cool" (PICS)
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member showed off the unique decor addition to her L.A. penthouse.
Heather Dubrow has a new piece of art in her life. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member took to Instagram this week, where she showed off her newest piece of artwork added to her family's collection, inspired by one of her four kids. This piece will go perfectly in her new home in Beverly Hills, which she is currently renovating.
Heather took to Instagram Story on Monday, October 14 where she proudly showed off her new piece of art — a "Bearbrick" sculpture done by artist Josh Mayhem, which looks like it currently resides in her Los Angeles penthouse. In the video, Heather can be seen standing next to the sculpture, made of resin and acrylic, sitting on a side table in her home.
In Heather's Instagram Story, it was noted that the sculpture looks different in real life than on the screen. "Yeah, pictures never do my work justice, honestly," Josh explained to her.
"It's super cool," she noted. "It's so sick. Obsessed. Thank you, thank you."
How Josh Altman helped Heather Dubrow find her new art
Heather then took to her Instagram feed, where she posted a series of photos with her new sculpture and revealed that she has a very personal connection to the art through her kid, Ace Dubrow. Not to mention, Heather's personal friend and Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles cast member Josh Altman introduced her to the artist.
"Special delivery from Josh Mayhem!!!!" she wrote over the photos of the new art. "The very talented Josh Mayhem just delivered my 'Blown Away 1000% Bearbrick' and I'm obsessed!! My youngest son, Ace, loves Bearbricks, so when I saw Josh's work, I knew I had to have one."
She continued in the caption, "I especially love that it's black and gold with subtle sparkles...So cool and exactly what I envisioned. What do you guys think?!
Heather Dubrow's latest home renovation update
It will be just a little bit longer until this new piece of decor is featured in Heather's completed home in Beverly Hills. In a September interview with The Daily Dish, Heather revealed that her family is currently living in a luxury apartment building in Los Angeles and have yet to start work on their Beverly Hills "dream house" they purchased in 2023.
"We just did the asbestos abatement, because the house has been there since 1948," Heather said. "Lots of permits, but we should be demo-ing in November and full steam ahead in January. I don't really wanna get going, then everyone leaves for the holidays, and it's just sitting there. So, it looks like January."
