Have Heather and Terry Dubrow Finished Building Their New Home?
The #RHOC couple has moved in, but is their masterpiece complete?
After a years-long construction process, Heather, Terry, and the rest of the Dubrow crew finally moved into their new palatial pad this summer. With the likes of a state-of-the-art movie theater, a colossal closet, and, of course, that famous champagne doorbell, filling out their new abode, the Dubrow Chateau is sure to be the talk of the neighborhood for many years to come.
Now that the Dubrows are finally settling into their new digs, does that mean the home is complete? "It's almost there," Heather recently told The Daily Dish.
Terry confirmed just how close they are to being finished. "It's 99.9 percent of the way there. She didn't let us move in until it was 98 percent of the way there," he said.
Heather previously told The Daily Dish that she led the construction, design, and decoration of the mansion, even going so far as to not allow Terry near the site toward the end of its building. So much of it was a surprise to the plastic surgeon, and it sounds like it was a pleasant one. "This house, although extraordinarily big is extraordinarily homey," he said. "The rooms are very big, but the way [Heather] did it, it's home. I love this house."
Just because the Dubrows' crib isn't quite complete yet doesn't mean Terry doesn't already have his eye on his — or rather, Heather's — next project. "Just so you know, the week before we physically moved into the house, Terry texted me and said, 'Um, can the real estate agent come by and take a walk through on Thursday?' And I said, 'No, are you out of your mind? Absolutely not,'" Heather said. "He would've sold the house before we ever moved in."
Terry doesn't deny that he's a bit obsessed with seeing his wife wear her contractor hat. "I just love the process. I love watching Heather do it," he joked.
