"Grandma" Heather Dubrow Welcomed an Adorable Baby to Her Extended Family: "She Is Perfection"
The RHOC alum was very excited to share this baby news with the world.
When we weren't looking, Heather Dubrow welcomed a new member of her extended family with open arms. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum officially has a new baby girl in her life courtesy of her longtime staffer, executive director, and Heather Dubrow's World podcast co-host, Natalie Puche. Heather shared the big news on her Instagram feed, also revealing the first photo of the adorable newborn tot.
"Welcome to the world Piper Rose Huddleston! 5.6 lbs [and] 19 [inches]. SHE IS PERFECTION!" she wrote. "I’m so happy for you [Natalie] and [Riley]! I CANNOT believe I am across the country?!?! How could she come early??? Doesn’t she know we are always 10 minutes late??? I will be there first thing in the morning whether you want me or not!!!! I can’t wait to hold her!!!! THE HUDDLESTON FAMILY!!!!! #WOW."
As for how the new mama is feeling, well, it sounds like she's still processing it all. Natalie wrote on Instagram, "I have no words."
Heather also noted on the new mom's Instagram comments that the baby is "GORGEOUS!!!!!! [heart emoji]."
The news of the baby has spread across the OC with Tamra Judge, adding, "Congrats. She’s beautiful."
Heather has been by Natalie's side throughout her pregnancy: from the gender reveal party to the baby shower.
Oh, and in case you're wondering how Natalie came up with Piper's moniker, well, she broke it down on Instagram with a special shout out to "grandma" Heather. She wrote:
"Dear Piper, Here’s a little story on how you got your name. When daddy and I found out that you were growing in my belly, your dad was about to board a 13 hour plane ride to Paris! (I know, not the best timing but you’ll soon learn that I’m awful at keeping surprises) It was super bowl Sunday and I had just dropped him off at the airport for his one week trip to Champagne, France to blend his own Champagne! Pretty cool, right? (I promise I’m cool too, just ask me!) The champagne house he was going to was called [Piper Heidsieck] and this was his second time blending his own champagne there, which is REALLY special, just like YOU!"
She continued, "The best part is that it was going to take 9 months for them to make daddy’s special champagne and bottle it up, which is the same amount of time it was going to take me to cook you up in my belly! It was all too perfect and we couldn’t help but listen to the Universe when deciding on your name, Piper Rose. Oh and don’t worry we set aside one bottle just for you! So that (many many) years from now we will be able to sit in Paris (which is also where daddy and I fell in love thanks to your grandma Heather but that’s a whole other story) and all cheers with a glass of Piper champagne with you, our beautiful Piper Rose! We (and so many people) love you SOO MUCH! You’re one lucky girl! Always and forever, your mommy (oh and don’t worry we’re not alcoholics!)."
