Heather Gay Opens Up About Her "Thriving" Daughters Ashley, Georgia & Annabelle (EXCLUSIVE)
The RHOSLC mom shared new details on her two older daughters' college lives and what she loves about having her youngest at home.
Heather Gay is sharing a sweet update on her three daughters, Georgia, Ashley, and Annabelle.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member's 18-year-old, Georgia, made a brief appearance on Season 5, Episode 5 when she attended the same dance class as Angie Katsanevas and Mary Cosby.
"This really shows Mary and I's level of expertise in the dance department," Angie joked in an episode interview. "We are in a dance class with Georgia Gay, who is a teenager."
Later in the episode, Heather told Mary that Georgia had "so much fun" at the dance class.
"Georgia's in a professional dance group, and Mary was there at the class," Heather explained to Lisa Barlow and Britani Bateman before Mary added that she attended the hip-hop class to "get a workout."
In an October 2 interview with The Daily Dish, Heather opened up about Georgia's new chapter as a college student, as well as the latest exciting updates on Ashley and Annabelle.
Where do Heather Gay's daughters Georgia and Ashley Gay go to college?
"Georgia’s at the University of Miami, she’s a freshman, and Ashley is a senior at UC Santa Barbara," Heather told The Daily Dish. "They are both thriving."
"Georgia’s going to rush a sorority. Ashley’s in Alpha Phi," she added. "They’re just kind of living my sorority girl dreams. When I went to college, we didn’t have sororities or fraternities at BYU. They’re not allowed. I always just dreamed of being in a sorority. So to watch my kids do it is just kind of fun."
What are Ashley Gay and Georgia Gay's college majors?
While Ashley is majoring in communications, Georgia is studying business "with an emphasis on entrepreneurship," Heather shared.
However, Heather encourages her daughters to explore all of their options.
"We talk about it a lot because they saw me major in humanities and then start a Med Spa and then end up on television," Heather shared. "They kind of know that college is more about becoming an adult and discovering what they’re interested in. So they haven’t locked themselves into a specific career. I think I’ve been an example of, like, you never know where it’s gonna go."
Heather Gay Opens Up About Living with Daughter Annabelle in Their New House
As Heather revealed on the Season 4 premiere of RHOSLC, she and her daughters moved into a 7-bedroom, 6-bathroom house in 2023.
The "big, huge home with a pool" is the type of "dream house" Heather always wanted to raise her kids in, she told The Daily Dish. However, she said with a laugh, "now they’ve been raised."
When Ashley and Georgia went away to college, "it made the home seem a lot bigger and a lot emptier quite quickly," Heather shared. Even so, Heather is more than enjoying the quality one-on-one time she is getting with Annabelle at home these days.
"I’m now just with my youngest daughter, Annabelle, and we’re kind of like college roommates," Heather quipped. "We just bought an air fryer, and we do fun recipes together and watch Love Island and go to bed. It’s a pretty great life. I love having just one adult child [at home] now."
