How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on Peacock and the Bravo App.

As we get to know Heather Gay even better in Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, we're also meeting more of her family, including her niece, Caroline, and her sister, Nancy. Heather previously let viewers in on her discussions with these loved ones earlier this season as they reflected on their decision to leave the Mormon church.

But one of Heather's most emotional conversations is still to come on RHOSLC. Bravo Insider has your exclusive first look at the December 19 episode in which Heather introduces us to her older brother, Tyler. "He always had the older, cooler friends, he had to forge the path with my parents, and really was an example for me always growing up," Heather says of her big bro in an interview in the above clip. "And then he moved with his wife to Switzerland, and he's been raising his two boys there for the last 15 years."

While the siblings play a game during Tyler's visit to Utah, their talk turns more serious as he brings up the topic of a letter he sent to Heather. "I just wanted to let you know that because of your decision to leave Mormonism, I had made a similar choice," Tyler says, adding that his sister was really the "spark" that led him to re-examine his religion.

Tears begin to flow for both Heather and Tyler as they share their complicated feelings about leaving the Mormon church, something that they each continue to grapple with personally and with their families. Tyler also confronts Heather about not hearing from her after she received his letter. "I was actually a bit sad that you didn't call me because I felt like I really needed you then," Tyler tells Heather. "And I just felt like I could've used you."

See the siblings' full conversation, above, including why Heather didn't respond to Tyler's letter right away, calling the note "a confirmation of my biggest fears," and why he would've been "the last person" she told when she first decided to leave the Mormon church.
