Would Lisa Edelstein Ever Do a House Reunion?
The #GG2D star reveals who she has — and hasn't — seen since her Cuddy days.
It seems like every beloved TV series is getting some sort of revival or cast reunion these days. So naturally, when The Daily Dish caught up with Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce's Lisa Edelstein, we just had to ask if there has been any talk of the sort as it relates to our other favorite series she starred in, House.
Unfortunately, you'll just have to enjoy the eight seasons of House that already exist in the world because Lisa said there hasn't been any chatter about the medical mystery show returning. What's more, when asked if she would do a House reunion, Lisa said, "I don't think so."
But the House love is still alive for Lisa when she bumps into her former castmates these days. "I've been shooting in Vancouver, so I've been running into Jennifer [Morrison] on the plane," Lisa shared. She has also recently run into Jesse Spencer at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival and Omar Epps at the Upfronts. "He was like this, 'Hey. 'Sup.' That was it. That's what I got — in the nicest way. That was a big conversation," Lisa joked.
Lisa has also reunited with Peter Jacobson, and she's still friends with much of the show's writing staff. She also keeps in touch with House creator David Shore via text.
But noticeably absent from that list is Hugh Laurie, Robert Sean Leonard, and Olivia Wilde, who Lisa said she hasn't seen recently. "Yeah, I haven't seen anybody else," she told The Daily Dish. "But it's always fun."
In fact, when Lisa appeared on Watch What Happens Live in 2014, she said that she hadn't talked to Hugh since they worked on the show together. But she assured viewers that there was no beef between them, "just everybody's separated."
