Noelle Robinson Explains How She Met Her Girlfriend, and Who Made the First Move
The RHOA daughter met her girlfriend on one of her first days of college.
Since going public with her girlfriend Alexis Powell, Noelle Robinson has been opening up about her love life. On March 25, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Cynthia Bailey’s daughter posted a YouTube video in which she answers all of the questions she has “been avoiding,” including how she met her girlfriend in the first place.
“We met at school,” explained Noelle, who previously attended Howard University. “I think I actually met her like, maybe the third day of school? I came up to her, literally...she was doing a little YouTube survey, and I told my friend, ‘Come on, you gotta come over here with me and do this survey,’ because I just wanted to talk to her, whatever, see what she was about.”
From the first interaction, the pair really hit it off. After completing the survey, Noelle and Alexis continued “walking and talking.”
“We just hung out the whole day after that,” revealed Noelle.
It seems like the process of making videos has continued to play a significant role in Noelle and Alexis’s relationship. While they’re spending more time at home to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the couple has been creating some hilarious TikToks.
Using a soundbite from an episode of Bad Girls Club, Noelle and Alexis shared a video captioned “a week into the quarantine with my girlfriend,” where they’re jokingly arguing with one another.
The rest of Noelle’s family has jumped in on the TikTok game, too. She recently shared a video with Mike and Kayla Hill where they’re lip synching over a clip from the RHOA Season 11 reunion, in which Eva Marcille tells Nene Leakes that her energy is “like, really raw today.”
