Here’s the Advice Emily Simpson Is Taking as She Celebrates Her 45th Birthday

Emily Simpson was looking fine as she celebrated a milestone birthday this past weekend -- and turning 45 had The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member deep in reflection mode about her life.

"Well I’m officially 45 today! I’m now half-way through my 40s," she shared on Instagram . She spent her birthday weekend with husband Shane Simpson in Las Vegas enjoying "amazing food, amazing friends and a spectacular view!" She then shared. "Now I’m going to take Mother [Teresa]’s advice and go home and love my family. Cheers to [age] 45, cheers to health and happiness and cheers to the important things in life that Money can’t buy."

Just weeks before opening up about her birthday, Emily posted on Instagram what her New Year's resolutions are: "Mine are to be in the best shape of my life, travel with my kids more and appreciate each day to it’s fullest (oh and wash my face before bed bc I never do that!). Love and happiness to you all! "
