Dolores Catania's Daughter Gabby Is "Safe and Sound" After Her School Is Hit by Hurricane Irma
The #RHONJ mom shares how her daughter is dealing with the devastating storm.
As Hurricane Irma hit the Caribbean this week, the devastating storm hit close to home for one The Real Housewives of New Jersey family. Dolores Catania shared that the school her daughter, Gabby Catania, attends was hit by Hurricane Irma.
Dolores shared an update from her daughter from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Kitts in the West Indies on Instagram Tuesday. "Hi everyone! thank you for checking in, I am totally ok and the school is taking care of me," Gabby wrote in a note posted by Dolores. "I greatly appreciate everyone's concern and I will get back to everyone but until then I have to save phone battery!"
Dolores also showed her gratitude for the "love and support" she and her family have received during this difficult time. "Your prayers for her and the people of Saint Kitts are greatly appreciated," she wrote on Instagram. "[W]e love you all."
The RHONJ mom also shared a video taken by Gabby of the scene at her school during the storm. Dolores said that as of Wednesday, Gabby still didn't have power, "but everyone is safe and sound."
Gabby shared a more serene scene of her new home prior to Hurricane Irma's arrival.
