Kristen Bell Is Helping Senior Citizens Affected by Hurricane Irma — with Bingo

While stranded in Orlando, the actress is doing her part and making new friends.

By Tamara Palmer

Turns out that Kristen Bell is the friend anyone would want to have during an emergency, as the actress has proven this week during Hurricane Irma and its aftermath. She's been stranded at Walt Disney World's Swan and Dolphin Resort, where she's made friends with people of all ages, including the residents of two senior assisted living homes who have also been staying there. And instead of sitting around just being scared, she's been playing bingo with them and having wheelchair races.

"We've been making the most of a crazy situation!" she told Jimmy Kimmel, before praising specific employees at the resort who have forgone sleep to help guests.

Kristen has also been a hero to friends Josh Gad and Jennifer Carpenter; she helped some of their respective families get into the hotel.

We can just feel her positive spirit and tenderness as she has posted some pictures of her new pals.
