Get a Look Inside Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo's Italian Vacation

How did Craig Conover kick off the warm-weather months? In la dolce vita style.

With only a few days left of summer, the Southern Charm cast member hit up Instagram to reflect on one his biggest highlights of the season: his Italian getaway with his Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo.

The longtime couple headed off to Capri back in June and documented their experience on social media. While Craig shared plenty of peeks at their stunning island views, mouth-watering dinners, and chic vacation looks, he apparently had many more Italy pictures in the vault. And, yes, they were just as dreamy as the first photo batches.

Craig posted a September 16 carousel that began with a photo of him and Paige playing cards at the Grand Hotel Quisisana. The following slides showed the couple taking in the gorgeous coastline views, sharing some laughs in the courtyard, and using the hotel lobby as their personal runway; however, most of the slides focused on the beautiful Italian food. Craig showcased a spread of pastries; a basket of bread; biscottis and coffee; and, of course, a couple of pasta dishes.

Paige spoke about the trip during the August 6 episode of her Giggly Squad podcast, co-hosted by Summer House alum Hannah Berner. Paige confirmed she and Craig had gone to Capri with her family and explained why Craig’s dining habits caught her parents off guard. She said her boyfriend kept asking the Italian waiters for meal suggestions, which she found “so f-cking annoy[ing].”

“He kept asking the waiter, like, ‘Oh, well, whatever your favorite is,” she said about Craig’s restaurant orders. “And they don’t really speak English… I’m like, ‘You don’t need to give them all those words. They don’t give a sh-t what you’re ordering. They’re not eating it!”

But Paige’s annoyance didn’t end there. She said Craig would regularly ask the waiters for hot sauce, which led to confusion among the staff.

“He kept asking, ‘Oh, any chance you have hot sauce?’” she recalled. “And they kept looking at him like, ‘We don’t know what you want.’ And so one place brought over chili oil and he put it on his pasta. And my whole family, just — I could see them in their seats just being like, ‘Oh my god.’ He’s a liability in Italy. Literally a liability.”

“My dad’s not over it,” Paige confessed at the time. “He actually brought it up not too long ago.”
