Jacqueline Laurita Is Leaving New Jersey, and This Is How Daughter Ashlee Holmes Malleo Is Handling It
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum's daughter said an emotional goodbye to her mom as she moves out west.
Jacqueline Laurita and her daughter, Ashlee Holmes Malleo, are on opposite coasts once again following The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum's recent move out west.
Jacqueline announced that she, husband Chris Laurita, and sons CJ, 17, and Nicholas, 10, are leaving Franklin Lakes, New Jersey and heading out west in an Instagram post on June 21. "MOVING TRUCK DAY!!! I’m sure going to miss New Jersey and all of the people who have made it so special for me and my family. We have SO many incredible memories here that we will cherish forever! I thank you all!" Jacqueline shared in the post. "We are SO excited for our move out west but it’s been an emotional week saying our goodbyes to everyone."
Ashlee opted to look on the bright side of her family's move as she bid them all a fond farewell in the comments to her mom's Instagram post. "I’m gonna miss you guys!" she gushed. "Excited for this new journey. Annnnddd it’s one more excuse to visit out west more often."
Caroline Manzo and Kathy Wakile's sister Rosie Pierri also sent their love to the Lauritas in the form of several heart emojis in the comments to that Instagram post.
Though Jacqueline did not specify to what state she is moving, she and Ashlee are no strangers to life out west. Though Jacqueline was born in New Jersey, she previously lived in Las Vegas. Ashlee has also spent time in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. "I was born here, left and returned, only to leave again!" Jacqueline wrote in her announcement on Instagram. "[New Jersey is] beautiful and so are most of the people in it! We’ll be back to visit!"
In addition to Ashlee, Jacqueline also had to say goodbye to her son-in-law Pete Malleo and her grandson Cameron, who will turn 3 in August.
While she's busy staying in touch with all of her loved ones back in the Garden State, Jacqueline is also excited to keep fans up to date on her new life out west via social media. "I’m happy to share it with you all!" she said on Instagram. "#NewAdventures coming soon!"
