Is Jacqueline Laurita Ready to Become a "Glamma"?

When Jacqueline Laurita's daughter Ashlee Holmes announced that she is expecting her first child in March, The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member couldn't contain her excitement about becoming a "glamma."

Now that Ashlee's baby bump is growing and the birth is quickly approaching, how does Jacqueline really feel about soon welcoming one more to the family? "I'm gonna be a glamma!" she cheered during a recent interview with E! News. "I know, I'm trying to think of a name for myself. I joke 'glamma,' but am I gonna have the kid call me 'glamma'? I don't know about that. So I'm trying to think of a good name for myself."

For the record, we think "glamma" sounds like a pretty fierce moniker, Jacqueline.

Most importantly, Ashlee shares Jacqueline's enthusiasm when it comes to her pregnancy. "She's feeling great. She's showing now, she's happy, she's so into it. Like, she researches all the time, like the best for the baby. She has almost everything for the baby already. And she's just very, very into it. I love it. It's so cute to see her like that."

Though Ashlee's teen years into adulthood have been a rocky road for the mother and daughter, as we witnessed on past seasons of RHONJ, Jacqueline said their relationship has never been better. "We're amazing. I think we needed that time apart," Jacqueline said of when Ashlee moved out of her New Jersey home. "She needed that independence because she's such a strong-willed child that she needed that time to learn on her own. It's one of those 'I could tell you' [situations], but she's one of those people that has to learn by experience." 

Jacqueline also explained to E! News why it seemed like she and Ashlee had such a strained relationship on RHONJ. "We kind of grew up like sisters, so we fought like sisters," Jacqueline said. "And even when the show was airing, when you see us fighting, you would see us in a big fight, literally like 20 minutes later, we'd be like snuggled up on the couch wanting to watch a movie together. So people never really saw the closeness part; they just saw the fighting." 

Though the RHONJ mom admitted that the two still don't always see eye-to-eye, she said that she and Ashlee are definitely in a much better place these days. "But now we'll bicker like women do in close proximity, but we don't fight like we used to fight, and it's just great," Jacqueline said. "We share a lot of the same interests. She's a makeup artist. She loves it. It's her passion, and I love it, so we have a lot of things in common." 

Jacqueline also had a contentious relationship with Teresa Giudice the last time she appeared on RHONJ. But what will happen when they reunite in the upcoming Season 7 of RHONJ premiering Sunday, July 10 at 8/7c?
