Planning a wedding is definitely not cheap, which is something Jax Taylor knows all too well as he gets ready to tie the knot with Brittany Cartwright. Seeing how Jax's jaw dropped over the cost of the couple's engagement party this season of Vanderpump Rules, we can only imagine how much that final bill for the wedding is going to pain the SURver.
Jax's frugality hasn't really changed, either. When he and Brittany were asked what Jax has been the "cheapest" about when it comes to their upcoming nuptials during their appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday night, he simply answered, "Everything." Later on during the WWHL After Show, Jax also admitted that he and Brittany haven't given too much thought to planning a honeymoon, partly because he's "been pulling back a little bit more than maybe I should" when it comes to his spending.
As the daddy to all Bravolebs, Andy Cohen then gave Jax some fatherly financial advice: make sure to save your money. But Jax assured Andy that he needn't worry about his bank account. "We're very smart," Jax told the WWHL host. "You might want to talk some of the other cast members on this, not me. I'm good. I'm frugal. My dad taught me well."
So, who was Jax referring to in the Vanderpump Rules crew? Well, he said he was "not naming any names," but Andy took a wild guess and offered Tom Sandoval as a potential big spender among the SURvers. "We saw him spend $18,000 on a motorcycle just for a gag, so yeah, it's Sandoval," Andy said.
Sandoval and Tom Schwartz faced a bit of a financial snafu in Monday night's episode of Vanderpump Rules when Sandoval's $50,000 check to Lisa Vanderpump for his investment in Tom Tom cleared while Schwartz's bounced. However, it looks like Schwartz is going to correct that — and in grand fashion, too — in the next episode of Vanderpump Rules on Monday at 9/8c.
But actually, you might be surprised about one item Lala doesn't splurge on. Find out how the SUR hostess and other Bravolebs spend their money in a game of High or Low, below.
