One caller asked the Vanderpump Rules bartender if he thought the tension between him and Tom surrounding his wedding was due to him being "just jealous" since he and Ariana have made it clear that they have no intention of tying the knot. But Jax could be heard saying under his breath in the above clip that that was "because she likes women."
Ariana, who opened up about her relationships with both men and women last season of Vanderpump Rules, responded to Jax's comments on Twitter on January 7. "I DO like women AND men," Ariana tweeted. "It’s called being bisexual. Ever heard of it? #thisisnthard."
She explained it like this after it was revealed that she had hooked up with Lala Kent during Season 7 of Vanderpump Rules: "I've been with women in the past, and obviously I've been with men. I would rather not label things and just kind of if you're attracted to somebody, you're attracted to them, and if you're not, you're not. And that person can be male, female, or anywhere in between."
Brittany Cartwright clarified things in a similar way as she came to Ariana's defense during the WWHL After Show. Jax apologized for his statement and explained that he was really upset at Tom for "coming at me because I bought a house because I got married."
Andy Cohen explained that what Tom expressed in the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 premiere was that he felt like Jax was always trying to one-up him with his new home. However, Jax said he still didn't get where Tom was coming from. "I don't understand how I'm trying to one-up you. I'm married," he said. "What am I supposed to do? Sit around and not start a family?"
Jax added, "Clearly, our house is smaller than his, so I clearly didn't one-up him."
Andy left things there with Jax and Brittany as the WWHL After Show came to a close. But it sounds like Jax, Tom, and Ariana all have some things to work out.
