It was at BravoCon 2019 that The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Jeana Keough confirmed she had finally finalized her divorce from Matt Keough. "Last week, I signed the divorce papers," Jeana said at the 2019 event. "Of our 32 [years] married, we were apart for probably 22. I wanted to be there for him."

Of course RHOC fans will recall that when Jeana joined RHOC, she and the former baseball pro, who passed away in 2020, were already separated. As reported in 2019, Matt filed for legal separation in 2004, which was granted, according to Orange County court records, as reported by The Blast in June of that year. It was then in November 2019 that Jeana shared that she and her ex-husband were divorced after so many years apart.

Jeana recently sat down with Bravo Insider's Life After Bravo, where she not only reflected on her split from Matt and what it was really like for her to share it on the show (clip below), but she also revealed why it took so long for the two to finalize everything (clip above).

Explaining why she wouldn't marry again she said, "the getting divorced part is ugly. Look at me, it took 27 or 28 years to get divorced. I literally got divorced from Matt 3 months before he died."

She further explained, "[It took so long because] neither one of us wanted to do it. Neither one of us cared about it. But he had a girlfriend for 4 or 5 years, maybe 7 [years], I don't know. They had gotten engaged and I thought, 'oh well. maybe he wants to marry her.' So I got divorced. Then COVID hit, so they couldn't get married."
