Jennifer Aydin Explains Why Gabriella Is Missing from a Recent Family Photo
The RHONJ mom shared a photo from a recent family get together that was missing her daughter.
When Jennifer Aydin shared a family photo from a celebration to mark 18 years of marriage to husband Dr. Bill Aydin, one of her kids was missing from the pic. But, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom was quick to explain just where in the world daughter Gabriella was when the photo was snapped.
"What a great night! We were missing [Gabriella] who’s in Turkey with my Dad and sister! I’m saving a piece of cake for you lovey!" she wrote.
While Gabriella was elsewhere visiting family, Jennifer and Bill's four other kids, Olivia, Justin, Jacob, and Christian, were on hand for the milestone occasion.
Of course, Jennifer also shared a message for her longtime love in the Instagram post: "And last but certainly not least Thank you to my amazing husband- without whom none of this would even be, and I mean None of all of this. Feeling blessed [and] grateful."
Jennifer was also feeling the love for her family in another post honoring her nearly two-decades long marriage to Bill: "First, there was you... Then came 5... Happy 18 years, my love!"
In 2019, Jennifer recalled how quickly the twosome fell for one another. "We met at my [brother-in-law James Aydin's] wedding in LA the Sunday before Labor Day 2001 and on our second date (after talking on the phone for 6 weeks) he simply said to me, 'You know you’re going to be my wife, right?'" Jennifer wrote on Instagram last year. "And I was so smitten I immediately said yes and the following week he was introducing me as his fiancée to everybody. And then we got married the exact same day, the Sunday before Labor Day, 2002!"
In an interview with The Daily Dish earlier this summer, Bill opened up about his life at home with his wife and five kids, including the lesson he's learned from being a dad.
"That there is life outside of work. I enjoy my work so much that there are times I find it hard to come home. I may be a little bit of workaholic that I need my wife and children to draw me back home to have a balance. The best thing that I want to be known for in this life is who I am as a father, son, and husband. Without their input, I wouldn’t reach that potential," he said at the time
