Kyle Richards Responds to Jill Zarin's Comments About the Future of Her Marriage
Andy Cohen got the RHOBH cast member to respond to the RHONY alum's recent comments.
A few weeks back, Jill Zarin commented on Kyle Richards' two-decade-plus marriage to Mauricio Umansky. Andy Cohen mentioned the comment during the July 8 episode of Watch What Happens Liveswith Andy Cohen when he asked Kyle for her reaction.
Andy said on WWHL: "By the way, Kyle, I just heard this. Apparently Jill Zarin said she hopes you get off of the Housewives before anything happens to your marriage with Mauricio. Did you hear that?"
Well, it seems the comment made by the East Coaster made its way to the West Coast.
"I did hear that," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member said about The Real Housewives of New York City alum's statement. "You know, I just think that she was coming from, because there is that supposed jinx with marriages and Housewives, but we're going strong. Almost 25 years married."
Kyle added, with a laugh, "But thank you, Jill. I appreciate that."
Back in January, the couple, who are parents to four daughters, celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. At the time, Kyle wrote on Instagram, "I love you so much and am so appreciative of what we have together.”
Around the same time, she dished about what it's been like to make their relationship last all those years.
“I met my husband at 23 years old and you change a lot during those times,” she told Us Weekly earlier this year. “You know, you hit forks in the road — I think they say you change every seven years? I don’t know, I think it’s probably less than that — but you hit a fork in the road and you can either go together on that road or you see things differently and you go on different roads.”
She added, “We’ve always been on the same page with our goals and our morals and how we want to raise our children and what we want out of life, so that’s made it easier."
Oh, in case you're wondering, Mauricio very much loves having Kyle in his life based on this one Instagram caption alone:
